Google Ads Management for Dentists

I run Google Ads for dental practices that want booked new patients, not just clicks.

By Tsvi Machluf October 2026
Dental searches convert well. In the 2026 benchmarks, more than one in ten clicks becomes a lead. The money is made or lost on which treatments the budget goes to and whether anyone tracks the appointments that follow.

Treatments are not equal, so the budget should not be either

An implant case and a routine cleaning both show up as one lead, but they are worth very different amounts. I build separate campaigns and landing pages for the treatments you most want to grow, so a cleaning search does not spend the implant budget.

Emergency dental searches need their own campaign with call-first ads and a schedule that matches when someone can see the patient.

Searches I block from day one

Dental keywords pull in a lot of traffic that never books:

Tracking that matches the front desk

The number that matters is cost per booked new patient. That means tracking calls over 60 seconds and forms, then marking which ones booked, and importing that into Google Ads so bidding learns from patients rather than from calls.

How I work and what it costs

I work by the hour at $50, with no retainer and no percentage of ad spend. We start with one hour on Zoom going through your account, or your plan if you are not running ads yet. Then I set up or fix the campaigns and tracking, and after that most accounts need one hour a month to review search terms, leads and budget.

You keep ownership of the Google Ads account and all the data. If you want to run it yourself later, everything is set up so you can.

FAQ

How much does Google Ads cost for a dental practice?
In the 2026 benchmarks dental clicks have a median of $8.00 and leads about $73. Your own cost depends on your city, the treatments you push and how well the account is tracked. My management is $50 an hour with no retainer.
Which dental services should I advertise?
The ones with the best margin and capacity, usually implants, Invisalign and other cosmetic work, plus emergency care if you can see patients quickly. Routine cleanings rarely justify paid search on their own.
Do I need a monthly retainer?
No. I work by the hour. Most practices book a setup session, then one hour a month to review search terms, booked patients and budget.
