Google and Meta Ads for Local Businesses in Miami
Search ads for people ready to call, Meta ads so they know you before they search. Set up for a bilingual city.
What I set up
- Google Search campaigns for the services you sell, with Local Services Ads where your category qualifies
- Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram) for local reach, offers and retargeting people who visited your site
- Separate English and Spanish campaigns, each with its own ads and landing page
- Location targeting that matches where you actually work, not the whole metro
- Call and form tracking, and booked jobs or sales sent back to Google and Meta
- A monthly review of search terms, cost per lead and budget split between Google and Meta
Google and Meta do different jobs
Google Ads catches demand that already exists: someone in Doral searching AC repair or dentist near me right now. That is where most local leads come from, and where every click costs the most.
Meta Ads create demand and recall. They put a new restaurant, med spa or contractor in front of nearby people before they search, and they bring back people who visited your site and left. For many Miami businesses I split the budget so Google gets the leads and Meta keeps the pipeline warm.
English and Spanish, done properly
Running Spanish ads that land on an English page wastes most of the click. I build Spanish campaigns with Spanish ad copy and a Spanish landing page or section, and track them separately so you can see which language actually brings customers.
On Meta the same applies to creative: a Spanish video or image ad usually needs its own version, not subtitles on the English one.
Targeting Miami-Dade without wasting the budget
If you serve Brickell, Coral Gables and Coconut Grove, there is no reason to pay for clicks from Homestead or Fort Lauderdale. I target the cities and radius you actually serve, raise bids where your best customers are, and exclude areas you do not cover.
For home services, the industry numbers are a good reality check. See Google Ads management by industry for cost per click and cost per lead benchmarks for plumbers, HVAC, roofers, dentists, law firms and more.
Real estate and rentals have extra rules
Miami has a lot of real estate advertising, and both platforms treat it as a special category. On Meta, housing campaigns cannot target by postal code, and audiences must include all genders and ages 18 to 65. On Google, housing ads in the US cannot target by ZIP code, age, gender, marital or parental status. I set these accounts up within the rules from the start, so ads are not limited after launch.
How I work and what it costs
I work by the hour at $50, with no retainer and no percentage of ad spend. I am based in Israel and keep US Eastern hours for calls, the same time zone as Miami. We start with one hour going through your accounts, then I set up or fix the campaigns and tracking, and most businesses need a short monthly review after that.
You own both ad accounts and all the data.
